After having watched HUMAN, I've felt relieved.
Just few hours before almost 34 people got killed and far more injured in Bruxelles. We are supposed to get used to these tragedies. We are none but silent witnesses of every kind of harrowing slaughter, our eyes are full of smoke's bombs, our ears are plenty of shots' sounds. We cannot act. During these instants, something inside us breaks forever. As the time went by, we strive to forget, we strive to move on. But we cannot deny that a piece of our lives, our will of happiness, our trust in a better world, has just dead.
However, there is always a chance of redemption. I have gone to the cinema without any expectation.

After three hours of Humans, I've changed my mind. I've been overwhelmed by stories of people, real people throughout the world. Everyone of them had something special and painful to share. Each of them opened their heart to the director, speaking through the camera, facing their past evils, their fears, their struggles to survive in a planet full of injustices and disparities. Bertrand interviewed refugees, abused women, persecuted minorities. Even though grief was depicted on their faces, they haven't given up.
And then I felt lucky to be alive, to be sorrounded by love. Which means everything. Our power is not revenge, is not hatred, violence or fear. It is just love. It is being eager. It is never stop to cross our path. Don't be discouraged to take a flight, to travel abroad, to meet new people, to share ideas, experiences. We should not be just witnesses of life. We should go out in the world and live it. From the very first moment until the end.
Our planet is terrific, it's huge and amazing. I am extremely proud to be part of it. I won't never stop to be curios about it. If we believe we can change it, then it's possible.
